Well, what a week that was! We know that some of you are still without power, many without phones and WiFi but at least that rain and wind has eased and the river has gone down. While things are still fresh in our minds though, we’d love to get your thoughts on what went well in our community’s response to Cyclone Alfred, and what we all as a collective might be able to do better next time.

We do plan to organise some more comprehensive debrief sessions but for now, RUKI has created a very short, simple survey to capture your thoughts.

This survey is only for people who live in the ‘Greater Uki’ region, which encompasses:

Mount Burrell
Byrrill Creek
Between Uki and Terragon
Smiths Creek Road

The information gathered will be helpful to inform community, disaster relief and emergency management stakeholders.
